I would love to do Raajneeti sequel – Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif confirms the reports that Prakash Jha has approached her for the sequel of the blockbuster film Raajneeti. The actress says that she would love to be part of the sequel in which she plays the protagonist.

In a recent interview, Katrina said, "Raajneeti is a very special film for me. It gave me recognition as an actor and earned me good reviews. I would love to do the sequel of the film. I have great regards for Prakashji and it would be an honour to work with him again."

Talking about the sequel of the mammoth budget film, Katrina reveals, "Normally I don't speak about the projects which are not concrete and haven't been officially announced. But it's true that Prakashji has approached me for the sequel of Raajneeti."

Kat reveals, "When he told me about Raajneeti 2, I thought it was a genius idea. The script that he has is very interesting. I think it's going to be a big challenge because all the characters have died. To create a cast that wonderful again will be a huge task. But the concept that he has is fantastic."

Katrina who seems very eager to be part of the sequel signs off saying, "I really hope he is able to put the whole thing together someday. I would love to be part of it."

Reportedly, Katrina will be in the spotlight as the queen politician in the Part 2 which will chronicle her rise to power and her subsequent descent to a megalomaniac whose self-serving politics ultimately destroy her.
